Mrs Gunasekara, a Farnham resident, lives in a two bed end of terrace property that was built between 1920-1929, meaning that it could not be insulated with cavity wall insulation.
She was interested in making her home warmer and more comfortable to live in so she contacted Action Surrey to see if there was any way of insulating her property.
Action Surrey were able to provide her with a £6,000 grant towards the cost of solid wall insulation and she is already benefitting from living in a warmer home that looks far better and is more comfortable to live in.
