Using the installer network

Action Surrey (TSC Ltd) produced and manages a Low Carbon Installers Network. The installers’ network is open to all Surrey residents but not limited to. Action Surrey (TSC Ltd) is not liable for misconduct on behalf of the installation company and the contract of work is held between the installer and customers, not Action Surrey (TSC Ltd).

Each installer that is part of our Low Carbon Installers Network has gone through due diligence checks and agreed to terms and conditions of joining the network.

The installers’ network is monitored closely by Action Surrey (TSC Ltd).

Any complaints should be taken up with the installer in the first instance. TSC Ltd does not hold any additional power over the installer other than that which is already enshrined in UK law. However, TSC Ltd can request that the installer rectifies any unsatisfactory work or face removal from the network of installers and being reported to their relevant trade bodies.

Post installation, any concerns regarding safety or the quality of the work carried out should be taken up with the installer in the first instance as they have the responsibility to hold copies of all necessary compliance certificates relating to the specific materials and processes used during installation, and will be best placed to discuss these.

TSC Ltd reserves the right to withdraw companies from its network is the Code of Conduct is breached on any account. TSC Ltd also reserves the right to inspect work carried out by the company if granted permission by the homeowner.

Action Surrey is part funded by ThamesWey Ltd, local authorities across Surrey/Surrey County Council and by referral fees from its supplier network for energy efficiency measures installed.
