More Surrey Households Can Qualify for Funding!
More Surrey residents who live in properties that are costly to heat can now receive funding support to stay warm.
We are happy to announce that we’ve just launched our new website to help local residents and organisations stay warm, reduce their energy costs, and reduce their environmental impact.
But what exactly is on the new website? Below, have a look at some of the key features that we think you will find useful:
Virtual house
This is an interactive tool that allows you to explore an average house so you can get tips on what you could be doing to use energy more efficiently. This is anything from investing in insulation for your home, down to how to arrange your furniture to maximise your heating system.
For many of the tips, you can follow links and find out how you can make these improvements through Action Surrey, and make an enquiry using our simple online form.
Insulation
There are a few different ways that you can insulate a home. Visit this page to find out what you can do through our installer network, and about any grants that are available to help pay for it.
Renewables
It’s not all about solar you know (although solar is very important). There are several viable options for a household looking to reduce their environmental impact. Some can even save you money compared to conventional heat and electricity generation. Have a look at this page to find out more.
Help for residents
We’ll be keeping this section up to date with lots of information on support available to residents regarding financial aid, tariff switching, and general tips on keeping warm and well.
