Oak Tree House, Woking's eco-demonstration property, will be open 10am-4pm (25th-30th October) where residents will be able to look around and gather ideas for their own homes at their leisure. Action Woking's energy advisors will be on hand to answer all your questions and assist you to keep warm this winter while reducing you carbon emissions and your fuel bills. Plus, on Wednesday 27th the Energy Saving Trust will be setting up a mobile energy stall at Oak Tree House to offer you the latest energy advice.
Energy Saving Week, which has been successful for the last 14years, is the Energy Saving Trust's annual nationwide campaign to encourage you to save energy and reduce your carbon emissions.
William Russell, Centre Manager for the Energy Saving Trust advice centre in London said; The clocks go back at the end of October. As the nights get longer and winter sets in householders will be using more energy. This will lead to higher fuel bills. Energy Saving Week will encourage and advise householders on how they can take action on reducing their energy bills whilst still keeping warm. There has never been a better time to take control.
