Action Surrey, in partnership with your local council, is currently able to offer a limited number of grants towards replacing broken or condemned gas boilers for those living in fuel poverty. Funding is limited and so, if you have a broken boiler, we would urge you to contact Action Surrey as soon as possible to check your eligibility for support.
Action Surrey is currently able to provide homeowners living in hard-to-heat properties with grants of up to £2,500 towards the cost of replacing a broken or condemned mains gas boiler.
The grant is aimed at helping vulnerable residents to stay warm over the winter period, thereby reducing the risk of being affected by winter illnesses often made worse from living in colder properties.
Residents living in hard-to-heat households on a low-medium income or in receipt of certain benefits can qualify and we would urge anyone with a broken boiler to contact us to check eligibility. To find out what support you could receive, please call Action Surrey on 0800 783 2503, contact us by email on [email protected] or complete an online enquiry form at www.actionsurrey.org/enquiries.
